"Even
if you can't make it to Mississippi tonight, you're in luck.
Tate and his tunes will bring the front porch to you."

collection of songs that range from barrelhouse boogie and country
swing to high lonesome ballads and rock 'n' roll romps."

Kudzu
Kings' frontman Tate Moore has assembled a sublime cast of Mississippi
musicians to make a new solo album Punk Poet. Known all through
the south, the Kudzu Kings played and filled prominent music
venues across the country sold over 10,000 albums, and shared
the stage with Widepsread Panic, Bob Weir, Junior Brown, Jjimmy
Dale Gilmore and the North Mississippi Allstars among others.
Punk Poet features 11 original songs from Tate Moore.
Produced
by Chris Hudson and Ted Gainey and recorded at Route 1 Recording
and Delta Recording Service in Mississippi, Tate is accompanied
by fellow Kudzu Kings bandmates, Dave Woolworth, Max Williams,
Robert Chaffe, and Ted Gainey. Additional musical guests include
Cary Hudson, Mark Bilyeu, Bill Thomas, Duff Dorrough, and Caroline
Herring. Like most things from north Mississippi, Punk Poet
comes with a consumer advisory: play the record loud while drinking
something cold!
